Raafat is a veteran Investment and Corporate Banker with +27 years of experience in Corporate Banking, Corporate Finance and Asset Management. He is currently CEO of BNC, a KSA-Capital Market Authority regulated asset management and investment banking house with AUM of USD + 1.2 billion.

Prior to that, Rafaat was the Managing Director of Odin Investments Egypt for over 2 years. Odin Investments is listed in the Egyptian Stock Market, and it is considered among the top Investment Houses in Egypt.

He also helped EFG Hermes Group (one of Middle East Biggest Investment Banks) to penetrate the Saudi Market and helped closing several equity capital market mega transactions. Rafaat has also launched the Investment Banking Business in Alinma Investment (investment arm of Alinma Bank), leading the closing of the largest Sukuk transaction in KSA in 2014 and structured Alinma Bluevine VC Fund.

He managed the Corporate Finance Team for Rasmala Investment LLC. as well as taking senior positions in  the Corporate Banking for major banks in the Middle East like HSBC, ANB and Alrajhi.
